Welcome! If Looks Could Kill is currently in desperate need of a clean up and a shiny new layout. What you see at the moment is pretty temporary so that there's something here and somewhere to put the bases.
A few of the really old and manky bases are gone. If you've still got them, you're welcome to use them, I just don't feel they're up to par with the rest of the bases here anymore.
- Wherever you use my bases, you MUST provide a link back to http://ilck.happy-phantom.co.uk Forgetting the link is NOT an excuse, as the URL is now included on all my bases. How you display the link is up to you but it must be clear which dolls use my bases. This is not only to give proper credit, but also helps others who might wish to use the base find where they can get it. "Oh but everyone knows what ILCK is, I don't need to link back" isn't an excuse either.
- You may edit my bases, unless a specific base is accompanied by a note stating the contrary. I would like that around 50% of the base remains original, because otherwise you might as well have gone and made your own base from scratch...
- Do not copy and paste any part of my bases to use them in conjunction with another base, be it yours, mine or anyone elses. That means you can't swap heads across sets (No Cora head on a Ko body for eg).
- Please do not use my bases in Drag and Drop dollmakers or KiSS dolls.
- None of my bases may be used for monetary profit. This means if you make custom layouts for a fee, you CANNOT use a doll made on any of my bases in it. I'm the only one allowed to make money off them :p
This does not apply to exchanges made for forum currency or points, such as "diamonds", "fireflies" or "Gaia gold".
GAIA SHOP OWNERS
If you wish to use one of my bases in your Gaia shop, but need permission to satisfy their rules, copy and paste the following:
"I have read and agreed to follow the rules as stated at http://ilck.happy-phantom.co.uk. By doing so, I am given permission to use bases from said site. I understand that if I cannot follow the rules, I must stop using the bases."
Bases are nude human bodies for drawing clothes and hair etc onto. They are as anatomically impaired as Barbie and Ken (Or whoever she's messing around with these days). If that bothers you at all, bases are probably not your thing.

Please don't contact me unless you actually need a question answered or want to send me edits or something of that ilk. I get all uncomfortable about fangirly squeeing and don't know what to say in repsonse and thus end up looking like an ungrateful snob, which is no fun. Also, I don't want your chain mail. Really don't want it. Sending me chain mail will result in me probably blocking your email address so if you ever actually have something useful to say to me, you won't be able to.
